Forum held to boost air freight services along "Air Silk Road"
The Zhengzhou-Luxembourg "Air Silk Road" Forum for International Cooperation opened Wednesday online and offline in Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province.
Over the past five years, a series of practical achievements have been made for the "Air Silk Road". Trade in goods via the "Air Silk Road" has covered more than 200 cities in 24 European countries, with over 90 cities in China involved. China will continue to work with Luxembourg to bring the "Air Silk Road" to a new level, according to a senior official of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), China's top economic planner, at the opening ceremony of the forum.
Themed "Widen and Strengthen China--Luxembourg Air Silk Road", the forum was co-hosted by the NDRC, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works of Luxembourg, and the People's Government of Henan Province, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. A total of more than 500 people attended the forum online and offline, with 31 cooperation outcomes yielded.
