China-constructed Peljesac Bridge in Croatia fully joined together

The final piece of steel box girder for the Peljesac Bridge in southern Croatia was lifted and welded with the main structure late Wednesday night.

The 2.4-km cable-stayed bridge, connecting Croatia's mainland with its southernmost region, is the country's largest infrastructure project sofar.
