The Fifth Construction Co., Ltd. of Sinopec (SFCC) and Saipem of Italy held an online signing ceremony for Saudi Arabia's Berri oil and gas processing project recently.

The owner of the project is Saudi Aramco, and the Italian company Saipem is the general EPC contractor.

The main content of the project includes equipment renovation and expansion engineering. Besides, SFCC takes responsibility of processing 11 million tonnes of Arabian light crude oil annually and 40,000 barrels of sulfur-containing hydrocarbons per day.

The value of the two contracts including AAP and KGP deals totaled approximately 200 million U.S. dollars.

This bid for the project is a result of SFCC's continuous cultivation of the Middle East market, which is of great significance to the company's exploration into international high-end refining and chemical engineering market.
