LensToLens | Made-in-China monorail trains provide transportation solutions in Wuhu & Bangkok

WUHU, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Manufactured by China's CRRC Puzhen Alstom Transportation Systems Limited and operated by Thai agencies, the monorail "Yellow Line" commenced commercial operations in July. The "Pink Line", another monorail supplied by the Chinese company, began a public trial run on Nov. 21. Both monorail lines feature cost-effective driverless trains with lower costs compared to conventional subway systems.

In recent years, Wuhu in east China's Anhui Province has stepped up efforts to build an industrial cluster of transportation. The CRRC Puzhen Alstom Transportation Systems Limited is a leading enterprise in the transportation industry of Wuhu, and its driverless, straddle-type monorail train has been put in use in several cities, providing an environmentally-friendly way to ease the ever-growing traffic pressure.

In November of 2021, Wuhu officially unveiled its first monorail line.
As one of the representatives of high-end equipment manufacturing, The China-made monorail trains are offering transportation solutions for cities at home and abroad.
