Poverty Alleviation and Aid to Tibet

COSCO SHIPPING has actively participated in various national poverty alleviation programs in Tibet. By the end of 2020, the Group had invested 432 million yuan and organized over 300 programs to alleviate poverty in Tibet. By the end of 2020, Lhorong County and Riwoqê County in Tibet, Anhua County and Yuanling County in Hunan Province, and Yongde County in Yunnan Province had all gotten rid of poverty, thanks to the aid offered by COSCO SHIPPING. Currently, on the basis of regional poverty alleviation, the Group is continuing the aid to contribute to the overall rural vitalization.
