CDF launches year-end sales, promoting Hainan FTP development

Approaching the yearend of 2024, China Duty Free Group (CDF) has recently launched a series of sales activities in south China's Hainan Province, providing consumers with rich shopping experience, continuing to lead duty-free consumption boom, and contributing to building Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) into an international tourism consumption center.
The sales promotion runs through November 21, 2024 to January 6, 2025, with CDF's duty-free shops in Hainan and e-commerce platforms offering discounts, gifts, and various themed activities, aiming to fully stimulate the enthusiasm for duty-free consumption.
Supported by local government departments, multiple shops of CDF in Hainan have issued several rounds of consumption vouchers in mid-December, injecting new vitality into the duty-free consumer market and allowing customers at home and abroad to enjoy more duty-free benefits.
The whiskey museum inside Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex has launched a "Happy Hour" activity, as well as wine tasting and art dialogue events, in a bid to create exquisite leisure time for consumers.
In Sanya International Duty Free City, CDF and toy maker Pop Mart jointly created a 10-meter-high wishing tree, attracting tourists to take photos and making New Year wishes. The shop has also opened a "sunset market", integrating duty-free shopping, catering and entertainment, and special trendy toys to enrich tourism experience.
Celebrating its 13th anniversary, the duty-free shop in Haikou Meilan International Airport in December launched discounts of more than 1,000 items with up to 70 percent off, as well as consumption coupon activities in cooperation with the Meilan district government.
The Haikou Riyue Plaza Duty Free Shop, utilizing its own location advantages in city center, has launched a special shopping area where consumers can purchase a wide range of high-quality products such as imported and domestic liquor, domestic beauty products, health care products, chocolates, toys and so on without leaving the island.
In recent years, CDF has been focusing on the strategic positioning of the construction of Hainan FTP. At multiple large-scale cultural and entertainment events held in Hainan this year, CDF has launched various of activities allowing tourists to feel the enthusiasm of Hainan. By creating a strong consumption atmosphere for domestic and foreign tourists through in-depth integration of duty-free shopping and other cultural activities, the company contributes to building Hainan FTP into an international tourism consumption center.
