China's Hainan sees surge in global tourist visits

Hainan, China's island province known for its year-round sunshine and pristine beaches, reported over 97.2 million tourist visits in 2024, both domestic and international. Of these, overseas trips exceeded 1.1 million, a 115.6% increase, which highlights the island's growing global appeal.
