Chinese contractor completes final stretch of Algeria's East-West Highway, boosting local economy

The East-West Highway, stretching across the entire width of Algeria, is considered one of the country's most important infrastructure projects. But its construction has not been a smooth ride. Completion of the highway was considered impossible until a Chinese contractor took on the challenge.
