Photo exhibition to highlight China-Hungary Belt and Road cooperation held in Budapest

A photo exhibition highlighting China-Hungary pragmatic cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative was held in Budapest, capital of Hungary on Thursday.

The exhibition, launched during the Thematic Forum on China-Hungary Belt and Road Pragmatic Cooperation, drew around 200 visitors, including Chinese and Hungarian government officials, scholars, entrepreneurs and financial institution representatives, to view photos of bilateral cooperation programs and people-to-people exchanges.

Hungary is the first European country to sign a Belt and Road cooperation document with China and over the past 75 years since establishing diplomatic relations, China and Hungary have enjoyed mutual respect, mutual understanding, mutual support and mutual trust.

Sharing the latest tangible accomplishments brought by Belt and Road cooperation, the exhibition presented a collection of exquisite photos with concise captions under the "cooperation model"- and "close friend"-themed exhibition sections.

For instance, pictures of the Belgrade-Budapest railway and Central European Trade and Logistics Cooperation Zone were exhibited to demonstrate mutually beneficial cooperation and photographs of bilateral people-to-people exchanges in culture, education, sports, and tourism sector were also on display.

Organized by China Economic Information Service, Europe Regional Bureau of Xinhua News Agency and the Belt and Road Portal, the photo exhibition was dedicated to telling more vivid stories on people joining hands in building the Belt and Road.
